Antique Japanese Edo Era C1840 Imari Ceramic Shallow Bowl Shochikubai 6" Bamboo ink and mineral color onThis is an antique Japanese Edo Era (c. 1840) Imari ceramic bowl all hand painted in gold, blue, red and green with design of flowers and butterflies. The bowl is made with high fired ceramics for lasting durability. Thisplate measures 8 1 2" in diameter by 3 1 4" tall (21. 5x 8 cm). Having been in storage for most of the past century this plate remains in very fine condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines.
